Confinement care is a specialised, time-limited service covering postpartum recovery, traditional confinement practices, and breastfeeding support during the first 28–40 days after birth. A domestic helper provides longer-term, ongoing daily care as part of a regular employment contract. If you need confinement support, you should engage a confinement nanny for that period and separately arrange your domestic helper placement for the months that follow.
